These local, state and federal programs provide funding for job training and support services for job seekers and businesses.

Types of Workforce Programs

Skills for Small Business

This program, administered by TWC, provides funding for training for small businesses with fewer than 100 employees.

Skills Development Fund:

This fund helps businesses and labor unions design and implement customized job training programs in partnership with educational institutions.

Registered Apprenticeships:

These programs combine on-the-job training with classroom instruction, providing a cost-effective way to train and retain employees.

WIOA (Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act):

This federal program provides funding for job training and support services for job seekers and businesses.
